As stated on the previous tutorial, the Navigation menu is the control center of Smart mineralogist and the most important component of the App. This guide will discuss the options available in the menu. When open, the Navigation menu is divided into three groups of selections separated by a title with a gray font color. The first group of options does not have a title but on its place is a prominent banner for the app. For the sake of this guide, we will refer to this first group as Home options. The second group is Resources and Tools as the last group.
Navigation home options.

History: An in-app log of all the minerals you browsed in the past. Further details available on the dedicated 'Home options > History'.
Learn Mineralogy: An in-app glossary of mineralogical terminologies and references used by the app. A great place to start if you are new to mineralogy.
Navigation resources options.

Navigation tools options.
The 'Tools' section as per name sake, allows you to do tasks outside the scope of Smart mineralogist such as storage space management and modifying app preferences. This help section is also accessible though 'Tools'. If you want to learn more about App preferences, see the dedicated 'Settings' chapter of this guide. Similarly, if you want to know how to manage the storage space used by the App, read the dedicated 'App Migration' chapter of this guide.
